Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) help individuals maintain communication and swallowing abilities through thoughtful assessment and personalized care strategies. In this session, Nancy will explain how SLPs support everyday communication using practical tools like memory aids, photos, and written cues, while also addressing swallowing safety and how dysphagia is evaluated and managed as language changes occur.
